Dental Health Week 2008

Monday, August 04, 2008
Just a quick reminder that this week is Dental Health Week (August 4 -10).

With the overall theme "The Caring Generation", the ADA is leading a campaign targeting 30-50 year olds and we have developed a strong media campaign around this age group with media releases discussing:

* Receding Gums and Decay
* Periodontal Disease
* Dental Erosion

As part of Dental Health Week (DHW), the ADA is also conducting an online 7 Day Dental Boot Camp which is available at www.dentalhealthweek.com.au. This website has a variety of dental health fact sheets and children's activity sheets available for all to read and download.

At this time, the ADA encourages all our members to get involved. Promote DHW in your local community. Display your DHW poster from the July issue of the News Bulletin in your practice. Challenge your patients to enrol in the ADA's Dental Boot Camp.

If you have any further queries regarding Dental Health Week or would like additional promotional materials such as posters, fact sheets or postcards, please do not hesitate to contact the Marketing Team at the Federal Office of the ADA on 02 9906 4412.
