COURSE PREREQUISITES In order to be eligible to attend Oral Surgery Module 2, attendees must have completed Oral Surgery Module 1 or have a minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience. However it is recommended that all delegates complete each Module in order to get the most of of the learning experience. MODULE 2 OVERVIEW Attendees will: Be provided instruction on case selection for Exodontia and Minor Oral Surgery for the General Dental Practitioner. Carry out several practical exercises utilising models focusing on removal of multi rooted teeth. Be provided updates on medical management of patients for Exodontia and Minor Oral Surgery. Be provided instruction on suturing and carry out practical exercises using models and animal specimens to consolidate skills in suture placement and tying. At the completion of this course, participants may be interested in attending Oral Surgery - Module 3, and/or Oral Surgery - Module 4, the next courses in this practical series.
