Course Scope and Program:
This comprehensive course delves into the intricacies of aesthetic composites, empowering dental professionals to achieve optimal outcomes in dental restorations and understand the ortho restorative interface. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the synergistic relationship between orthodontics and aesthetics, along with hands-on experience in various techniques, including bonding, intraoral scanning, impression taking, and injectables composite veneers. Dr James Bartalotta will feature his unique technique of warming the composite before using it on injectable composite veneers. This technique can help to improve the flow and adaptability of the composite, resulting in a more natural-looking veneer.

Orthodontics and Aesthetics 
Mastering Meticulous Record-Keeping for Successful Restorative Treatments

•Emphasizing the importance of detailed record-keeping in delivering successful restorative treatments.  
•Scanning and Photography – for digital planning and for patient communication – the use of digital smile design and Trial smiles for patient motivation, education and treatment planning.

Fundamental Principles of tooth shape and size 
•Building a solid foundation in the principles of tooth shape and sizes taking into account White pink and Black aesthetics, understanding how to communicate with your lab to get a wax up done

Layering Vs Single Shade composite for anterior composites and the  Fundamentals of Adhesive technique for Composite Placement 
•Discussing Composite selection – Shade, translucency – Harmonize vs SimpliShade, tinits 
•Rondoflx for airparticle abrasion 
•Single Bottle Adhesive System versus Two Bottle Adhesive 
•Exploring the nuances of single-bottle and two-bottle adhesive systems.

Heated Composite Injectable Technique  - 
•Understanding using Composite System in with heated composite – alternate tooth technique 
•Gingival retraction with Teflon
•Alternate tooth Bonding and composite placement. 
•Cleanup prior to second placement 
•Second composite placement 
•Rough cleanup maintaining tooth shapes 
Shaping Veneers - 
•Using discs, polishing burs and optigloss polishers to define line angles primary and secondary anatomy  of teeth 
•going through the process of shaping Primary, secondary and tertiary anatomy of 6 anterior teeth using principles learned yesterday.
Cutback Technique 
•Alternate way to get layered look of composite veneers with injection moulding  
•Cutback central incisor and apply dentine shade and tints for enhanced natural aesthetic appearance
