Gain theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice in treatment planning, restoration and long-term maintenance of dental implants. Modern implant treatment should be based on sound biological and prosthodontic principles, in order to provide patients with prostheses that are functional, aesthetic and comfortable. This course is designed for clinicians with little or no previous implant experience who would like to incorporate implant restorations confidently into their daily practice. Learn to: - identify the biological and prosthetic factors that lead to a successful implant restoration - understand 3D images and their application in implant dentistry - design single implant prostheses and select appropriate abutments based on the clinical situation - recognise common biological and mechanical complications.
