Removable prosthodontics on partial dentures and complete dentures
Explore the theory and practical steps of complete and partial removable prosthodontics.
For several years, many patients have benefited from removable prostheses, such as complete and partial dentures. Although the incidence of tooth loss has declined markedly in the last few decades, dental clinicians still encounter patients in need of missing teeth replacement. In today’s population, removable prostheses remain a valid treatment option for replacing missing teeth. Removable prostheses are unique, as they replace multiple missing teeth and supporting tissues, improve patient chewing and speech, and restore patients’ appearance. However, the success of the removable prosthesis is largely dependent on its design and the standards of the clinical steps.
This refresher course will simplify removable prosthodontics, focusing on the critical steps for providing a functional, comfortable and aesthetic denture. Update your knowledge and understanding of removable prosthodontics, optimise your skills to increase your scope of practice to include removable prosthodontics, and comfortably manage patients with complete and partial edentulism.
Held over two days, this course is clinically oriented and will cover the theory and practical steps of complete and partial removable prosthodontics. A group of prosthodontists experienced in removable prosthodontics will present lectures on critical aspects for successful removable prostheses followed by hands-on exercises.
Main topics:

clinical steps for removable prostheses
partial denture design
complete denture clinical steps
