Course Information

There is a myriad of pathologies which may affect the head and neck region. Many of these pathologies may be readily apparent, but others may be hidden and require thorough history taking and clinical examination to obtain clues for further investigation and ultimately a diagnosis. This course will enlighten attendees on a variety of potentially life-threatening pathologies which may be encountered in the dental clinic. It will enable attendees to identify potential red flags and to also illustrate the significant importance of meticulous history taking and clinical examination. The presenters will navigate attendees through a number of cases in the many different facets of head and neck pathology including mucosal pathology, swellings and orofacial pain.
