A catchy new track by the mascot for the event, which is marked on 20 March, Toothie the Beaver, has been released to get people singing about the key link between oral health and mental health.

With just one week to go until World Oral Health Day on Thursday 20 March, the FDI World Dental Federation (of which the ADA is an active member) has releases a snappy new song that they hope will "get as many people as possible to join him on this exciting journey to spread happiness everywhere".
Titled, “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Mind”, the one-minute track, which comes with a video you can download here, has a lot of fun extolling the benefits of flossing, being cavity free and how the right dental care can leave someone “feeling good inside and out”.
It’s an enormously catchy pop song which is available from all major streaming platforms, and it’s hoped that when people take the time to #brushandboogie with Toothie that they’ll take the important oral health messaging to heart.
Dental practitioners everywhere are encouraged to play the song to patients and feature on social media platforms and in any other communication channels you may have.
