Australia's Oral Health Tracker

The Oral Health Tracker (the Tracker) redefines the way we view oral health in Australia.

A national report card that sets out oral health improvement targets for all Australians, the Tracker shines a spotlight on our current national oral health status while encouraging everyone, especially the nation’s leaders, to work towards effectively addressing the oral health burden in Australia.

Developed in collaboration with the Australian Health Policy Collaboration (AHPC) and other leading Australian oral health experts, the Tracker highlights the intrinsic link between oral health and preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes, conditions and their risk factors.

Aligning with the World Health Organisation Action Plan, which aims to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases by 2025, the Tracker provides a set of targets and indicators to chart progress in addressing the state of Australia’s oral health with the aim of preventing and better managing the resultant chronic diseases over time.
