Australian Dental Association Ltd- Autopay Terms and Conditions


1.    Application

These terms and conditions apply to members of Australian Dental Association Ltd (ADA) who opt to automatically renew their membership each year.

2.    Overview

Autopay allows ADA members to automatically renew their membership each year using their nominated payment method. By selecting the autopay option, you authorise ADA to store your payment details and automatically charge your nominated payment method for future membership renewals in accordance with these terms.

3.    Authorisation for recurring payments

By selecting autopay, you authorise ADA to:
•    securely store your nominated payment method; and
•    automatically charge the applicable membership fee for each renewal period using that payment method.
Payments will be processed on or around the membership renewal date each year unless you cancel autopay prior to that date.

4.    Membership fees

Membership fees are determined periodically by ADA and may change from time to time.

If the membership fee changes, members enrolled in autopay will be notified in advance of the new fee before the renewal charge is processed.

5.    Renewal notification

Members enrolled in autopay will receive advance notice of their upcoming membership renewal. This notice will include:
•    the renewal date
•    the amount to be charged
•    the payment method to be used
•    information on how to cancel or update payment details.

6.    Cancelling autopay

You may cancel autopay at any time before the renewal payment is processed by:
•    logging into your membership account and disabling autopay, or
•    contacting ADA at https://ada.org.au/about/contact-us
If autopay is cancelled, your membership will not automatically renew and you will need to manually renew your membership if you wish to remain an ADA member.

7.    Failed payments

If a payment cannot be processed using your nominated payment method:
•    ADA may attempt to process the payment again; and
•    you may be contacted to provide updated payment details.
If payment cannot be successfully processed, your membership may lapse in accordance with the membership terms.

8.    Updating payment details

You may update your payment details at any time through your membership account or by contacting ADA.

9.    Payment security

Payment details are stored and processed using secure payment systems operated by authorised third-party payment providers. ADA does not store full card details directly.

10.    Refunds

Membership fees paid through autopay are subject to the refund provisions set out in the ADA’s https://ada.org.au/about/terms-conditions.

11.    Changes to autopay terms

ADA may update these Autopay Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be made available on our website.
