After fulfilling days spent immersing yourself in ADC2025’s scientific program, workshop and ‘Lunch & Learn’ sessions, it’s time to socialise with friends and peers at some of Perth’s most beautiful locations.

Once the lights have gone off each day at ADC2025, it’s time to head to Congress’s social events, known for their relaxed atmosphere, sense of fun and great selection of the host city’s food and wines.

Welcome reception

First up is the Welcome Reception on the evening of Wednesday 7 May which will mark the official opening of the 39th Australian Dental Congress in Perth, Western Australia.

As you reconnect with fellow delegates, you and your colleagues and friends will be entertained, enjoying the richness and variety of WA’s rightly famed food and wine.

Held at ADC2025’s host venue, the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Welcome Reception gets Congress started in fine fashion, and if you want to kick on afterwards, the bars and restaurants of Perth are just a short ride away.

Congress Late Night

Once Congress is well and truly underway, Congress Late Night on the night of Friday 9 May offers you an end-of-the-week release in the grounds of Kings Park and Botanic Garden, which offers stunning vistas of Perth and the surrounding areas.

At the ‘cocktail style’ event, attendees will be treated to an exciting and modern event set in three distinct zones which will dazzle and beguile you with great entertainment and delicious food and drink.

These two amazing nights are a brilliant opportunity for you to celebrate in style and have a whole lot of fun so be sure to secure your spots at both events when you register for ADC2025. (Both events are included in your registration, but you must advise if you wish to attend as numbers are strictly limited.)

Registered delegates will be notified when registration for the social events is made available.

Accompanying partners

If you’re heading to ADC2025 as a delegate, don’t feel you need to leave your significant other behind.

The Accompanying Persons Program is specially designed for them, offering a specially curated program of tours of the Swan Valley, Perth and Fremantle, and social events including the Welcome Reception and Congress Late Night functions.

Young dentists’ event

This dynamic gathering on Thursday 8 May is the perfect chance for young dentists to connect with peers, share insights, and discuss the future of dentistry with other early-career professionals. Enjoy a relaxed setting, meet new faces, and be inspired by fresh ideas and perspectives.
