This course is designed to equip dental professionals with a variety of effective anxiety relieving techniques, allowing you to offer alternatives that help patients relax and receive necessary treatment. This hands-on course covers a range of sedation methods including psychosedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
identify the key causes of fear and anxiety in patients and learn effective management strategies
apply psychosedation techniques to ease patient anxiety
understand the use of pulse oximetry and defibrillation
implement oral sedation and nitrous oxide techniques into their practice whilst understanding the relevant pharmacodynamics, advantages, and risks of these techniques
