No roots left behind: Hands-on surgical extraction techniques

Course Information

This course will allow participants the opportunity to extract a variety of teeth on cadavers with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon looking over their shoulder. This will enable the participant to ask questions during the procedure and for the oral and maxillofacial surgeon to offer tips and suggestions on extraction. There will be a lecture with handout notes provided before commencing the hands-on component. You will have the opportunity carry out a surgical procedure to recover fractured roots. There will be one head per two participants. Due to the nature of the course, availability of teeth to be extracted will vary. * Please note that this course will be carried out on cadavers This is a limited attendance course A minimum number of participants is required for this course to proceed.
