Top 10 things to do at the Australian Dental Congress 2025

- Congress
We’ve selected 10 key things you should take the time to do at this year's premier dental event so you can create the best Congress experience for yourself.

Events like the Australian Dental Congress always have a lot to offer and working out where you should spend your time, and effort can be a little daunting. But fear not – to make things easier, we’ve selected 10 key things you should take the time to do. The list is, of course, far from exhaustive, but it will give you a head start on helping you create the best Congress experience for yourself.
1. Sign yourself up for a workshop, Lunch & Learn or Breakfast & Learn
Complement your scientific program sessions with a more intimate, hands-on learning environment. Ask questions, practice what you’re learning and enjoy doing it with a select group of your peers. And add to your CPD hours in the process!
2. Drop in and get your questions answered at the ADA stand
While we’re always ready to answer any questions you have via email, phone calls or through Peer, asking questions face-to-face with an ADA representative can be invaluable. Please stop by and say “Hi!”
3. Speaking of the exhibition …
A comprehensive selection of dental companies showcasing the latest dental products and services with all of your questions answered right in front of you. What’s not to love?
4. Go see your favourite speaker
The scientific program has a huge array of world-class speakers from Australia and around the globe so make time to see your favourites!
5. Take the time to connect with others
There’s no real substitute for seeing people in person and letting conversations go where they will. Personally, and professionally, you will come away richer. Also take part as a group in the Wellness Challenge to benefit the ADA Dental Health Foundation!
6. Explore the host city
Take advantage of opportunities to see the city and nearby regions and make the most of your time in Perth. (If you’re from Perth, here’s your chance to take friends and colleagues for a good explore of your home city!)
7. Social events
From the Welcome Reception to Congress Late Night, and the Young Dentists Event, there are plenty of ways to connect with friends and colleagues after the day’s program has drawn to a close.
8. Take advantage of a day rate
Take advantage of a day rate to get a taste of what Congress involves so you’re ready for the full event
the next time around!
9. Support the ADA’s Foundations
The ADA Dental Health Foundation (ADA DHF) and the Australian Dental Research Foundations will be at Congress so here’s your chance to chat to them and get more involved ... including the Wellness Challenge, which will raise funds for the ADA DHF's transformative Rebuilding Smiles program.
10. Check out the Congress sponsors!
You’ll find Colgate, Curasept, Ivoclar, NAB, Kulzer, Amaco and AMEX at the exhibition and also sponsoring key sessions. Take the time to chat with them further.
