ADA Guidelines and resources contains intellectual property owned by or licensed to the Australian Dental Association Ltd (ADA) and is provided for the professional use of ADA members and authorised users. It must not be reproduced, shared, modified or used commercially without ADA's written permission. Users should check the ADA website for the latest version. As a valued member you are entitled to proudly display your affiliation with the Australian Dental Association, as assurance for patients and the public that you meet the standards set forth by your professional association.

It is important that you use the logo in accordance with By-Law XV - Use of the ADA Crest, Logo and Name, included within the Guidelines for ADA Member Logo use listed below.

Use of the ADA Member Logo

Being a member of your professional association signals to your patients and your peers some important things about you that you’re committed to being a professional, that you aspire to high standards, you’re a leader and you’re willing to invest in the future of dentistry.

You’re encouraged to make use of the ADA member logo on your practice website, on your stationery, on your email signature and anywhere else you want to demonstrate to patients you’re part of a professional organisation.

Logo

Please ensure you have downloaded the official ADA Member Logo.

If used on your practice website, the ADA Member Logo must be hyperlinked to the ADA website, www.ada.org.au

Please ensure that the ADA Member Logo only appears on a white or very light coloured background.
If your practice’s branding does not lend itself to the standard blue ADA logo a mono and reversed version of the logo is available for download.

Space around the logo

You must keep an area of clear space around the full logo equal to the width of the letter “D” at the centre of the logo.

Regardless of whether you’re going to use the logo in digital or print, you need to keep the clear space around it free of any visual distractions, graphics or clutter to ensure that the impact and recognition of the ADA’s identity is maximised.

Conditions of use

Eligibility to use the ADA member logo is determined by a number of conditions set out in By-law XV – Use of the Australian Dental Association Crest, Logo, and Name. To use this logo you need to fulfil these criteria:

a) Only members in good standing may use the member logo.
b) The ADA member logo should not be used in any way that might be construed as endorsing a practice, individual, or service.
c) The ADA Member Logo must be used without modification.
d) If used online, the logo should be hyperlinked to www.ada.org.au.
e) The ADA retains the right to suspend or terminate the use of the logo at any time.
f) ADA members should only use the member logo and must not use the organisational logo without permission.
g) Any dentist who is not, or ceases to be, an ADA member, is not entitled to use the ADA logo.
